Sakhir, Bahrain

There we go, the 4th GP this season, which was set on Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir.
Some facts:
Race laps: 57
Lap: 5,412 km
Last year winner: Sebastian Vettel
Lap record: 1min 30,252 secs. by Michael Schumacher in 2004.

The race:
Everyone who watched todays race had deja vu, because we have the same drivers on the podium as last year ! But let's start from the beginning.
Lewis Hamilton had problems with his gearbox before qualifications, so due to changing he recived penatly, five-place grid drop. Also Mark Webber recived three-place grid drop, because of crashing with Jean-Eric Vergne. What is more we could see Kovalainen in Caterham as a test driver in free practise.
First lap, Alonso started to overtaking Vettel, but he was blocked by him. What is more Vettel after few approaches finally overtook Rosberg, and became a leader for the rest of the race.
Second lap, Vergne had problem with his tyre, so he got to go to box very quickly. A moment later Alonso started overtaking Rosberg, which was a success. What is more, di Resta overtook Rosberg. He showed a very beautiful ride today. Also as we could see mercedes cars are not so fast. Even Button could overtake him  despite problems in McLaren. From the Pole Position, he finished at 9th position. Massa from the beginning had damaged front wing, but it didn't make any difference in ride. Alonso after visit in box, had to go there again, because of his back wing. What is more he had problems with DRS for the whole race. It just didn't work, but he finished at 8th position, which is absolutely amazing, for someone with not working DRS. Raikkonen was so long at the track before the first box till 17lap. 18Lap was the end of the race for Jean-Eric Vergne. He had a contact with van der Garde on the first lap and  suffered teminal damage in the collision. Next McLaren's duet showed us what they are able to do. They were fighting so raw, even between each other. At 37lap Massa had again problems with his tyres, but this time the tyre damaged completely, but he quickly went to box.
Anyway finally we got the results:

So now just a 3 weeks break, and will start the first Grand Prix in Europe !
Get ready !

MotoShow, Szczecin.

This is not connected to F1, but I thought I would share with you my opinion of Moto show.

Last weekend in my town was an event called Moto Show.
I expected a lot of fast cars, and more exclusive stuff, but instead it was just a simple event, and quite boring.
Anyway, there supposed to be many activities, which many of them weren't.
There were few sections like main hall with many car brands and dream cars, outdoor square, where were some shows.
You could see brands like: Lexus, Mercedes, Peugot, Citroen, Honda, Volkswagen, Ford, etc.
but only one or two cars of each brand. In section 'dream cars' you could see Ferrari, Mustang, Corvette, BMW, Aston Martin, Porsche.
In outdoor square supposed to be FMX, but it was like a cheap version of it. Also in program was drifting, but it last like 2 minutes, and the car just was going round and round.
I took some photos, so you can have a look and judge by yourself.
Enjoy !

Shanghai, China

There we go Chinese Grand Prix, which was set on Shanghai International Circuit !
Some facts:
Laps: 56 which is 3.387 miles
Last year winner: Nico Rosberg
Lap record: 1min 32.238 secs. by Michael Schumacher in 2004

The race:
First lap and no crash. Ferrari duet overtook on the first curve, from position 5 to 3 Massa and 3 to 2 Alonso. Few laps later, they overtook Hamilton and were first.
Next Sutil and Gutierrez had crash, which Sutil went to pitstop with damage, Gutierrez was out of track and race.
A moment later Sutil's car started burning  in his garage, that was end of the race for him.
Later on Nico Rosberg had damaged his back wing, and almost and the end of the race, he backed to his garage, because of problems with his car.
Then Vergne was turning so close to Webber, that it was to close, so he damaged his front wing.
Moment later Raikkonen was trying to overtake Perez, but he blocked him on the curve, so Kimmi gets angry and said on the radio: "What the hell is he doing !? ". What is more he damged his front wing, but fortunately it was still able to race.
Next Webber had massive problem with his car, it was slowing down. His engineer told him to get back to box, but he started to slip and he lost his tyre.
At the end of the race Alonso was a leader and he was so far from drivers. His engineer told him to not pushing car so hard, but he responf that he is driving normaly.
Last lap could change everything. Few laps before Vettel changed his tyres to soft, and he started getting close and close to leader. He almost overtook Hamilton on the last curve, but fortunately he couldn't do that.
If he changed his tyres just 1 or 2 laps before he did, he would've a chance to be on the podium.
It was so close, but there we go:

Comparison

This time I got for you comparison of F1 Racing magazine, Polish and UK edition.
"F1 Racing" magazine is the world's best-selling grand prix magazine. You can find there many intresting facts, interviews, previews and also good pictures.

My friend few weeks ago was in UK and bought for me this magazine  and he gave me this today (this one is for March, no 205). As I take it in my hands, I saw that the size of UK edition is bigger. What is more, cover is diffrent in touch, is mat, but Polish is kind of slippy and sleek.

(UK edition on left, Polish edition on right)

Moreover,  this number includes a poster of Champions of F1.
You wanna see how this "poster" looks like in polish edition ?
It is on 2 firsts pages of magazine.

Also in UK edition is extra guide to the 2013 season in association with Sky Sports HD. In Polish not.

What is more I recognized that  UK edition is thicker. There are few pages with photos of F1 cars, and more comercials than in Polish one.

However Polish one is cheaper, but not so much.
It's disappointing that it looks much diffrent and includes less.
Nevertheless it's still good magazine, and good to read.
