Monza, Italy

I'M REALLY REALLY SORRY THAT I DIDN'T POSTED ANYTHING SINCE BELGIUM SPA !
It's because I had quite tough time, but now I'm gonna upload everything here that I've missed to write ! I hope you will still enjoy the reading, and it will remind you somehow the race ;)

Autodromo di Monza
Race laps: 53
Lap: 5,793 km
Last year winner: Lewis Hamilton
Lap record: 1 min 21,046 secs by Rubens Barrichello in 2004

The Italian GP is actually my favourite, I do love the track, it has a big history. Also the atmosphere there is amazing ( as I've heard from friends and saw from tv)
This race was actually hard to watch for me, because I supposed to be there, but due to school I couldn't make it, so it was like watching a race with tears for the whole time ! ;)
The really big suprise was in Qualification, because 3 great drivers ( Grosjean, Raikkonen and Hamilton) were out of Q3 ! Actualy Hamilton was blocked by Sutil and later on he recieved a penalty.
RACE:
Great start of Massa but really bad of Button. Di Resta out of track at the beginning. He had a contact with Grosjean. Then Raikkonen was  in box on the first lap to change the front wing, because he crushed into Perez car. Later on, little contact between Webbber and Alonso, but no damage. Lap 12 Hamilton need to pit right away because of slow puncher in his tire, the mechanics in pit are not ready, but fortunately he was in pit on 13 ( probably because of some problems with radio). His engineer told him to reset the radio. Few laps later Vergne is struggling with some car problems (probably that was engine). Then the race was quite "calm" I mean no crushes and problems until at lap 40 Webber recieved a info that he is having problems with his gearbox, later on also Vettel recieved that to. Unfortunately for Webber  it was more serious.
Last lap Sutil went out of track to the pit.
And the results:

Spa, Belgium.

After almost one month brake F1 is back on the track !
Race laps:  44
Lap: 7,004 km
Last year winner: Jenson Button
Lap record: 1 min 47,263secs by Sebastian Vettel in 2009

The race:
It was a such good weather comparing to FP or Q, but the dark clouds were there all the time.
I would say it was such a calm start, because there was no crash at the beginning like last year.
Lewis Hamilton started from the pole position, but unfortunately after few seconds of the race Sebastian Vettel overtook him. Also it was such a good start for Fernando Alonso, because he started from the 9th position but finally he finnished at 2nd.Anyway there was intresting moment in this race. In 1/4 race Sergio Perez was overtaking Romain Grosjean and it ended up that Grosjean was out of track. In my opinion there was nothing wrong, but Perez received drive-through penatly for pushing him out.  At 11lap Charles Pic decided to give up from the race because of car problems. Later on we could hear a typical Kimi Raikkonen on the radio. His engineer told him to keep car of his car, and Kimi replied that he has no idea what his engineer is talking to him, ohh Kimi :) And in the middle of the race Kimi was overtaking Felipe Massa, but He had some problems with brakes so it ended up that he was out of the track and quickly returned to his garage. At 28lap was a crash on the curve which is called the Bus Stop. Pastor Maldonado smashed Paul's di Resta car, and quickly returned to garage to change tires and nose, while it was the end of the race for di Resta. Maldonado received 10secs stop&go penalty  for this collision.
Well after a quite long brake it was good to see boys in action, but there was to many penalties... Soon we probably won't see any overtaking, because drivers will be scared of penalties.
Let's hope it won't happen.
And now is time for results:

Montreal, Canada.

What a race that was ! But let me give you some facts about track and GP as usually.
Race laps: 70
Lap: 4,361km
Last year winner: Lewis Hamilton
Lap record: 1min 13,662secs by Rubens Barrichello in 2004

The race:
In the end of Q2 Felipe Massa (again) slided into wall. He just got lost the control of the vehicle, because the track was quite wet, thanks to bad weather. The result was Red Flag, and the race stopped for few minutes. When everything back to normal, the race was restart from Pit lane, and after that Kimi Raikkonen and Daniel Ricciardo received 2 grid penalties following to the fact that they opted to line up next to Esteban Gutierrez(he was ledding), not behind him. Qualification went so good for Valteri Bottas. He qualified at 3rd position which is great result.
On Sunday was sunny weather, so intermediate and wet compound tyres weren't necessary. As the lights went off Sebastian Vettel ( who was on pole position) as usual rapidly went ahead and made huge gap, but only one mistake and Hamilton (who started from 2nd grid) got him. Talking about mistakes, Lotus team made one in pit stop, and Kimi Raikkonen lost some important seconds. After few laps from the beginning, Adrian Sutil rotated his car while attempt of overtaking Bottas, and the moment later Pastor Maldonado hit the back of Sutil's car. He received a drive-through penatly, which meant from 8th he was 10th. In the middle of the race Mark Webber and Fernando Alonso overtook Nico Rosberg without any problems and with DRS help. It was so quick and professional. In the channel I watched F1 commentators were admiring the way Mark and Lewis drive, and the way how they overtook Nico. Later on Giedo van der Garde was ignoring blue flags, and he collided with Webber, and destroyed Mark's front wing. It was irresponsible of van der Garde. He received 10 seconds stop/go penalty. Then Alonso secured his podium position and overtook Webber which made him 3rd, and later on he overtook Hamilton, which made him 2nd.But Hamilton is real fighter so he wouldn't just give up. So at 63lap  they had a small contact, but fortunately it was unnoticeable. Moving on  Nico Hulkenberg destroyed van der Garde's front wing, which after one lap made Giedo's car totally broken, so he moved on grass. He might have stopped his car earlier, because Nico reacted responsible, and talk with his engineer about car's status and decide to stop the car. What was intresting for me, was the fact that Paul di Resta raced a 57 LAPS on one set of tyres. How did he do that, since pirelli's tyres have "good" quality. Later on was a quite funny thing. When Hamilton's engineer started talk to him about tyres, Lewis replied: " Just let me drive, man..". That was totally Kimi style :) Moving on to the end Sutil received drive through penalty for ignoring blue flags. Then Gutierrez was out of the track at 66lap, which meant DRS was disabled and that was bad information for Massa who was struggling with Raikkonen. But at final lap he overtook him.
So there we got the results:
Anyway there was only one sad thing because after this GP one of the Marshalls died after falling under the wheel of a mobile crane. He died in hospital. We all feel so sory about it...

Monaco.

That was intresting race ! The Grand Prix of Monaco.
It was set on the street Circuit de Monaco.
Race laps: 78
Lap: 3.340 km
Last year winner: Mark Webber
Lap record: 1min 14,439 secs by Michael Schumacher in 2004

The race:
In FP3 Felipe Massa had a crash on the first curve, so he didn't attend in qualifiactions.
It all began so easly, but later on there was a real race to watch.
Almost all drivers started on Supersoft compound.
He recived a penalty because of changing the gearbox just as Max Chilton.
On the formation lap Jules Bianchi had a problems with his car, so he couldn't drive.
After few laps Maldonado damaged his front wing just as Gido van der Garde, (which about pastor is a not suprise :). Later on the team mates from McLaren started fighting between each other. On the 9th lap Charles Pic's car started to burn on the entry to pitstop. Just some technical problems, and it's the end of the race for driver. A moment later Maldonado had again contact but this time with Jules Bianchi. Then was not a good view because Felipe Massa had again crush on this same curve, Sainte Devote, as in FP3. After that we could see a safety car, beautiful Mercedes SLS AMG, for the first time in this season. Safety car annoys many people, but for me hearing this sound of engine and then the F1 cars is so good :)
At the 38th lap the SC went out, and after almost 10 laps Pastor Maldonado had a terrible crush, that the race was red flagged, because it took out the entire barrier on curve, which makes track not available to drive through. Every driver backed to the star and waited till the track would be clear. It was a Max Chilton fault so he recived a drive through penatly for causing collision. After the 20mins break everything backed to normal and we had the race restarted. Sergio Perez started to fighting so raw, that sometimes it was quite unfair. Also Lewis Hamilton was trying to get back his position, but he just couldn't get Mark Webber. Later on was a crush between Grosjean and Ricciardo, but Romain backed on the track with destroyed front winng, but in Pit Stop he finnished his race. There was again we had a safety car, because there was so many parts of cars. Few laps before the end, Sergio Perez was out of track because of car's problems. A this race Fernando Alonso had a very bad pace, most of drivers just take him over and over. That was so sad for me because I support him. Anyway it was a very very good race for Nico Rosberg. He got a pole position, and he won the race ! So congrats, and now get ready to next GP in Canada!

Pirelli wristbands

Hey !
So today I want to share with you my  new purchase. It's Pirelli wristbands (2013 eddition) !
Those wristbands are special for me, because there is 6 wristbands which each of them is compound of the real Formula 1 Pirelli tyres. There is green one (Intermediate), blue one (Wet), red one (Supersoft), orange one (Hard), white one (Medium) and yellow one (Soft).
This is like a must have for every F1 fan, because it's so nice to have them on.
I wanted them for such a long time, but they seems to be pricey, but one day I said "I must have them !" and I don't regret.
Check it out :)

63 years !

Today we, all Formula One fans, can celebrate, because 63 years ago this beautiful motorsport was born.
It's a good day to chat about it, and spend some time maybe watching some great videos, or read something about it. Just to appreciate this what we have now, and thanks to this how we can feel during watching F1.
So thats why I have for you few link to youtube videos of F1 which shows this beauty of this sport.
Enjoy ! :)

One of the best I ever saw
2011 season
Alonso vs Hamilton
About the legend, Ayrton Senna

Barcelona, Spain

The first Grand Prix in Europe this season was set in Barcelona in Spain on Circuit de Catalunya.
Some facts:
Race laps: 66
Lap: 4,655km
Last year winner: Pastor Maldonado
Lap record: 1 min 21,670 secs by Kimi Raikkonen in 2008

The race:
Felipe Massa after Q2 recived a three-place grid penalty for impeding Mark Webber. Also Esteban Gutierrez got this punishment, but he was blocking Kimi Raikkonen.
That was very beautifull start for Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso. As soon as lights went off, they rapidly got ahead. Mercedes duet was on the first to places, but the starts wasn't great for them. Lewis Hamilton on the first curve blocked his tyres, and lost his position. Later on began problems with his car, so he totally lost his good position. Also Nico Rosberg was struggling a bit, because  drivers one by one were overtaking him. Then in pitlane Force India had some issue with their car. Next thing happened to Romain Grosjean. Had a huge problem with car, with steering.
Pastor Maldonado received drive through penalty, because of over-passing speed in pitstop.
Giedo van der Garde reported to his engineer that he is having problems with his tires  later on he lost his back, left tyre, but he continued driving to pitlane, whereas he supposed to stop somewhere.
Ferrari started to have the best results and heading to the first places. All fans on the grandstands were just celebrating.
Then it was just fight between Massa Vettel and Raikkonen, where Vettel, which is quite surprise  didn't have a good results, good pace. Whereas Fernando Alonso had incredibly good pace, and was leader for the end of the race (with ups and downs because of visit on pitlane). Later on Nico Hulkenberg was to early released, straight to  Jean-Eric Vergne, that they even had a contact. Nico received penalty 10secs stop in pitstop. Few moments later Vergne's back right tyre completely destroyed, so he had to get back again to pitstop.
Last laps, all Ferrari fans were so much happy, that he is going to win the race, and that just happened.
Fernando Alonso won Spanish Grand Prix !

All results:

and the podium:

The legend

Today is the day.
19 Years ago, on 1st May, the greatest driver, the legend, left us..
We will never forget about him, about what he did and how he was.
That day was the worst to his family, friends, and all fans around the world. Actually that weekend wasn't good at all. If you didn't ready about it already, then I recomend you the best documental movie which is called "Senna".  Probably every fan of F1 saw this movie many times. It's such an amazing one!

Ayrton Senna da Silva:
162 races
41 wins
80 podiums
65 pole position
3 times  F1 World Champion

The most popular Senna's quotes:

"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose"

"I have no idols. I admire work, dedication and competence"

"I'm not designed to come second or third. I'm designed to win"

"Women - always in trouble with them, but can't live without them"

"My biggest error? Something that is to happen yet"

Sakhir, Bahrain

There we go, the 4th GP this season, which was set on Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir.
Some facts:
Race laps: 57
Lap: 5,412 km
Last year winner: Sebastian Vettel
Lap record: 1min 30,252 secs. by Michael Schumacher in 2004.

The race:
Everyone who watched todays race had deja vu, because we have the same drivers on the podium as last year ! But let's start from the beginning.
Lewis Hamilton had problems with his gearbox before qualifications, so due to changing he recived penatly, five-place grid drop. Also Mark Webber recived three-place grid drop, because of crashing with Jean-Eric Vergne. What is more we could see Kovalainen in Caterham as a test driver in free practise.
First lap, Alonso started to overtaking Vettel, but he was blocked by him. What is more Vettel after few approaches finally overtook Rosberg, and became a leader for the rest of the race.
Second lap, Vergne had problem with his tyre, so he got to go to box very quickly. A moment later Alonso started overtaking Rosberg, which was a success. What is more, di Resta overtook Rosberg. He showed a very beautiful ride today. Also as we could see mercedes cars are not so fast. Even Button could overtake him  despite problems in McLaren. From the Pole Position, he finished at 9th position. Massa from the beginning had damaged front wing, but it didn't make any difference in ride. Alonso after visit in box, had to go there again, because of his back wing. What is more he had problems with DRS for the whole race. It just didn't work, but he finished at 8th position, which is absolutely amazing, for someone with not working DRS. Raikkonen was so long at the track before the first box till 17lap. 18Lap was the end of the race for Jean-Eric Vergne. He had a contact with van der Garde on the first lap and  suffered teminal damage in the collision. Next McLaren's duet showed us what they are able to do. They were fighting so raw, even between each other. At 37lap Massa had again problems with his tyres, but this time the tyre damaged completely, but he quickly went to box.
Anyway finally we got the results:

So now just a 3 weeks break, and will start the first Grand Prix in Europe !
Get ready !

MotoShow, Szczecin.

This is not connected to F1, but I thought I would share with you my opinion of Moto show.

Last weekend in my town was an event called Moto Show.
I expected a lot of fast cars, and more exclusive stuff, but instead it was just a simple event, and quite boring.
Anyway, there supposed to be many activities, which many of them weren't.
There were few sections like main hall with many car brands and dream cars, outdoor square, where were some shows.
You could see brands like: Lexus, Mercedes, Peugot, Citroen, Honda, Volkswagen, Ford, etc.
but only one or two cars of each brand. In section 'dream cars' you could see Ferrari, Mustang, Corvette, BMW, Aston Martin, Porsche.
In outdoor square supposed to be FMX, but it was like a cheap version of it. Also in program was drifting, but it last like 2 minutes, and the car just was going round and round.
I took some photos, so you can have a look and judge by yourself.
Enjoy !

Shanghai, China

There we go Chinese Grand Prix, which was set on Shanghai International Circuit !
Some facts:
Laps: 56 which is 3.387 miles
Last year winner: Nico Rosberg
Lap record: 1min 32.238 secs. by Michael Schumacher in 2004

The race:
First lap and no crash. Ferrari duet overtook on the first curve, from position 5 to 3 Massa and 3 to 2 Alonso. Few laps later, they overtook Hamilton and were first.
Next Sutil and Gutierrez had crash, which Sutil went to pitstop with damage, Gutierrez was out of track and race.
A moment later Sutil's car started burning  in his garage, that was end of the race for him.
Later on Nico Rosberg had damaged his back wing, and almost and the end of the race, he backed to his garage, because of problems with his car.
Then Vergne was turning so close to Webber, that it was to close, so he damaged his front wing.
Moment later Raikkonen was trying to overtake Perez, but he blocked him on the curve, so Kimmi gets angry and said on the radio: "What the hell is he doing !? ". What is more he damged his front wing, but fortunately it was still able to race.
Next Webber had massive problem with his car, it was slowing down. His engineer told him to get back to box, but he started to slip and he lost his tyre.
At the end of the race Alonso was a leader and he was so far from drivers. His engineer told him to not pushing car so hard, but he responf that he is driving normaly.
Last lap could change everything. Few laps before Vettel changed his tyres to soft, and he started getting close and close to leader. He almost overtook Hamilton on the last curve, but fortunately he couldn't do that.
If he changed his tyres just 1 or 2 laps before he did, he would've a chance to be on the podium.
It was so close, but there we go:

Comparison

This time I got for you comparison of F1 Racing magazine, Polish and UK edition.
"F1 Racing" magazine is the world's best-selling grand prix magazine. You can find there many intresting facts, interviews, previews and also good pictures.

My friend few weeks ago was in UK and bought for me this magazine  and he gave me this today (this one is for March, no 205). As I take it in my hands, I saw that the size of UK edition is bigger. What is more, cover is diffrent in touch, is mat, but Polish is kind of slippy and sleek.

(UK edition on left, Polish edition on right)

Moreover,  this number includes a poster of Champions of F1.
You wanna see how this "poster" looks like in polish edition ?
It is on 2 firsts pages of magazine.

Also in UK edition is extra guide to the 2013 season in association with Sky Sports HD. In Polish not.

What is more I recognized that  UK edition is thicker. There are few pages with photos of F1 cars, and more comercials than in Polish one.

However Polish one is cheaper, but not so much.
It's disappointing that it looks much diffrent and includes less.
Nevertheless it's still good magazine, and good to read.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We are after second Grand Prix in this season, which was set in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
In my opinion, this one was more intresting than in Melbourne.

On the first lap Fernando Alonso had contact with Sebastian Vettel's car. He damaged his front wing. His team was ready for him on pitstop, but he went throught next lap and before first curve,  front wing destroyed completley, and makes his cars uncontrollable.
He couldn't do anything with his car, and went out of track.
Ferrari made mistake, they probably want him to make few more laps on new tyres, but unfortunately it all went wrong. Just a misunderstading.

Next thing made smile on face of every F1 fan.
Lewis Hamilton made a little mistake and went to wrong garage, to his old team McLaren instead of Mercedes. Fortunately, he recognized it quickly and go ahead to his team. He must really missed them ! :)

A moment later, Torro Rosso released Jean-Eric Vergne to fast from pit straight on Charles Pic's car from Caterham. That pit release was unsafe, and cost Torro Rosso 10,000 $ fine.

Then problems in pit had Sahara Force India, first Adrian Sutil, and then Paul di Resta. Wheel nuts issue, made team to make decision of retiring from Grand Prix.

Next, Sebastian Vettel has been complaining over the radio that Webber is too slow. They were fighting so raw, that it was so close to crash. Sebastian ignored team order and overtook Mark. There was unpleasant atmosphere in Red Bull Racing team after race. However, Sebastian apologized in interview for this whole accident.

Another problems in pit had Jenson Button. The mechanics had problem with fitting the front tyre. "I think we could have challanged the Mercedes" Jenson said. It  looks like McLaren has same problem with mechanics like last season.

Then were fights between Nico Hulkenberg and Kimi Raikkonen first on pit, then on track, but later Kimi easily passed Nico for being on 8th position.

Next Pastor Maldonado once again was out of track, but this time he couldn't back on track. That's not suprise for anyone.

Later on there was another complaining over the radio, but this time by Nico Rosberg. He said that he is quicker than Lewis, and want to let him pass. However, Ross Brown told him that Lewis could go quicker to, but he is managing his pace by team instructions.

In the end, Massa was so active and fast. However all what he could do that time was being on 5th position.

Many suprises, many disappointments - typical race.
We can say that more were happening in pitstop than on track!
Only 3 more weeks and we will have another rivalries.
On 12th April will begin Chinese Grand Prix.
